EOS Secures AU$28 million Defence Contract in South East Asia

Electro Optic Systems Holdings (ASX: EOS) has announced a new AU$28 million contract for their Defence Systems division. The contract entails supplying R600 Remote Weapon System (RWS) spares to a South East Asian customer, with deliveries set to start in late 2024 and extend into 2025 and 2026. The R600 RWS offers a flexible dual weapon configuration, leveraging advanced pointing and tracking technology for increased accuracy.

This deal aligns with EOS's strategy to expand their product, customer, and manufacturing base. Most products for this contract will be manufactured in EOS facilities in the United States. EOS, operating in Defence Systems and Space Systems, focuses on remote weapon systems, vehicle turrets, laser weapons, and counter-UAS systems. Their Space Systems division specializes in space technology and communications.
