Enhancement of Kharmagtai Resource

Aug 21, 2024

Xanadu Mines Ltd (ASX: XAM) has announced an increase in the Mineral Resource Estimate for its Kharmagtai copper-gold project in Mongolia. The updated Resource reflects a 14% rise in contained copper, totalling 463kt, and a 9% increase in contained gold, amounting to 764kz. The enhancement is due to the improved resource reporting criteria that align with pre-feasibility study pit shells and include 7,300 meters of new drilling data.

The Kharmagtai Resource now stands at 3.8 Mt of copper and 9.3 Mt of gold. Minor adjustments to classifications and a reassessment of drilling data also contributed to a slight increase in resources outside the defined pit optimizations, enhancing the overall resource profile of the project.
