EMC Acquires Participation in JMEI Scheme for 2024 2025

Jul 19, 2024

For the 2024–2025 revenue year, Everest Metals Corporation Limited (ASX: EMC) has reported that its application for the Junior Minerals Exploration Incentive (JMEI) has been successful. EMC is able to turn tax losses into credits for qualified investors through the JMEI scheme. Mark Caruso, CEO, highlighted the strategic advantage for investors. JMEI credits of AU$1.17 million have been awarded to EMC for the year.

These credits may be awarded to qualified shareholders who purchase new EMC shares between July 1, 2024, and June 30, 2025, subject to a number of conditions. It is recommended that investors obtain independent tax advice. EMC will file its 2024–2025 tax return and then notify stockholders of their entitlements.
