Dundas Minerals Limited: Encouraging Gold Results from Windanya RC Drilling

Dundas Minerals Limited (ASX: DUN) is actively exploring gold at the Windanya and Baden-Powell projects, located approximately 60km north of Kalgoorlie, Western Australia, adjacent to the Great Northern Highway. In May 2024, the company completed a 19-hole reconnaissance reverse circulation drilling program. All assay results have been received and analyzed.

The program aimed to identify primary gold mineralization at depth and locate possible sources for high-grade gold in soil samples at the Aquarius and Scorpio gold anomalies. The drill targets were selected based on the magnetic characteristics of the underlying rocks. Out of the 19 holes, 6 targeted the Mount Pleasant Gabbro, a known host of gold mineralization in the region, while the remaining holes targeted contacts between interpreted Mafic and Ultramafic rocks and country rock.
