DroneShield Ltd has secured a contract worth AU$9.7 million in Latin America

DroneShield Ltd (ASX: DRO) has secured a significant AU$9.7 million contract in Latin America, marking a major milestone in its global expansion. The order, facilitated by DroneShield's LATAM in-country reseller, is for a military end customer and includes dismounted, mobile, and fixed-site counter-drone systems. The reseller, a prominent local entity with over 19 years of experience and 165 successful defence contracts, brings valuable expertise to this partnership.

Delivery and payment are scheduled for 1H2025, with 80% of the payment expected before shipping and the remainder upon delivery. This marks DroneShield's first order with this reseller and customer, underscoring its growing regional presence. CEO Oleg Vornik highlighted the company's strategic focus on the LATAM market, supported by a robust pipeline across multiple countries and the recent appointment of Carlos Gutierrez as LATAM Sales Director. This development positions DroneShield for continued growth in 2025.
