Drilling Begins at Lightning Minerals Esperanca Lithium Project in Brazil.

Lightning Minerals (ASX: L1M) has commenced a 2,000m diamond drilling program at its Esperança lithium project in the Lithium Valley region of Minas Gerais, Brazil. The drilling, conducted by Energold Drilling S.A., is targeting spodumene-bearing pegmatites identified in late 2024. This marks a significant milestone in the company’s exploration strategy, focusing on high-priority lithium targets. 

Managing Director Alex Biggs highlighted the project's strong potential, with ongoing works at the Caraíbas and Canabrava lithium projects, where additional drill programs are planned for later in 2025. Energold’s specialist modular rigs will be used to minimize environmental impact and provide greater flexibility during the campaign. As Lightning Minerals advances its Brazilian lithium portfolio, investors can expect further updates on exploration progress.
