DigitalX Limited (ASX: DCC) in its November 2023 update, informs shareholders about the performance of its funds and digital asset holdings. The DigitalX Bitcoin Fund experienced a 5.3% increase, while the DigitalX Fund saw a 9.4% rise, in contrast to the S&P Cryptocurrency Top 10 Equal Weight Index's 15.5% surge in AUD. The uptrend in digital asset prices persisted, driven by expectations surrounding potential approval for spot Bitcoin ETFs in the US. Despite the All-Ordinaries Index rising by 4.7%, gold (AUD) declined by 1.6% during the month.
Bitcoin reached US$37,726 amidst ongoing estimations for the approval timeline of US-based spot Bitcoin ETFs. However, Bitcoin's dominance decreased as smaller market cap assets performed better. Ethereum rose by over 13.0% to US$2,052 following news of BlackRock's Ethereum ETF filing, while Solana surged by 54.4% due to increased activity in its network and NFT markets.
