Market Alert: ASX200 at Critical Support – Reversal or Further Fall?
Dicker Data Limited (ASX: DDR) reported gross revenue of AU$3.37 billion for FY24, reflecting a 2.9% increase driven by growth in subscription revenues and market share gains. EBITDA remained stable at AU$150.4 million, while net profit before tax declined 2.8% to AU$113.2 million, impacted by increased lousy debt provisioning. The company declared a final quarterly dividend of 11 cents per share, totalling 44 cents for FY24.
The strong performance in Q4FY24, with revenue up 9.9%, sets a positive tone for FY25. Sector-wise, hardware and virtual services grew by 1.9%, while software sales rose 5.3% to AU$963.8 million. Retail showed impressive growth at 27.8%, while access and surveillance increased by 7.9%. Gross profit rose 2.8% to AU$324.2 million, with improvements in New Zealand’s gross margins. Despite increased operating expenses and salary costs, Dicker Data remains optimistic about FY25, focusing on AI adoption, Windows 10 migration opportunities, and continued vendor investment to drive growth.
