DeSoto Resources Expands in Guinea & Announces Investor Webinar

DeSoto Resources Limited (ASX: DES) has announced an investor webinar following its acquisition of a 1,234 km² land package in Guinea’s Siguiri Basin and the Gaoual Gold Belt. The webinar, scheduled for Tuesday, 25 February 2025, will be hosted by Managing Director Chris Swallow and Chair Paul Roberts, providing insights into the company’s exploration strategy and upcoming drilling plans. The session will include a Q&A segment, and a recording will be made available on DeSoto’s website.

DeSoto has secured a dominant land position in Guinea, a region known for high-grade gold deposits. The company’s projects benefit from the expertise of a seasoned exploration team, with key personnel having played significant roles in major gold discoveries in West Africa. Immediate drilling is planned, targeting high-grade mineralisation in key project areas. With a market capitalisation of AU$9.7 million and AU$4.1 million in cash as of 31 December 2024, DeSoto remains well-funded to advance its exploration initiatives.
