Cygnus Metals Expands High-Grade Gold Potential at Chibougamau

Cygnus Metals Limited has reported promising results from its Golden Eye target within the Chibougamau Copper-Gold Project in Quebec, Canada. The company intersected high-grade gold, including visible gold, with assays such as 3.3m @ 6.6g/t Au and a standout 2.3m @ 9.1g/t Au. Golden Eye, last drilled in the 1990s, lies outside the current resource zone and features historic results up to 5.9m @ 34.1g/t AuEq. Cygnus’ recent drilling has extended known mineralisation down to 400m, where it remains open. Pending assays from five additional holes are expected soon. Cygnus is leveraging over 100,000 historic documents to digitally reinterpret the geology and identify new targets, aiming to release an initial Mineral Resource estimate for Golden Eye. With two rigs on-site, the company’s strategy focuses on low-risk, brownfield exploration to expand its copper-gold resource base and enhance shareholder value.
