Core Lithium announces significant upgrade to Mineral Resource

On 06 March 2023, Core Lithium Ltd (ASX: CXO), an Australian mining company, announced a substantial increase to the Mineral Resource Estimate (MRE) at BP33, a crucial deposit for the Finniss Lithium Operation located in the Northern Territory.

• The increase in MRE is a result of the ongoing exploration program at the Finniss Lithium Operation, which has led to more than doubling the estimate from 4.37 million tonnes at 1.53% Li2O to 10.1 million tonnes at 1.48% Li2O.
• Recent drilling at BP33 has identified extensions along strike and down depth, which suggest the potential for the extension of the mine design at depth, and it remains open down-plunge.
• Additionally, there are significant growth opportunities beyond the currently modelled resource domains at Carlton, Ah Hoy, Hang Gong, and Sandras, and an update to the global Mineral Resource and Ore Reserve Estimate for Finniss is underway.
• The company plans to conduct an aggressive drill program at Finniss in CY23.
