Connected Minerals Launches Maiden Uranium Drilling in Namibia

Connected Minerals Ltd (ASX: CML), an Australian exploration company, has commenced its maiden 3,050m reverse circulation drilling campaign across two Namibian uranium projects: Etango North-East and Swakopmund. Partnering with experienced local contractor Hammerstein Drilling, the company has begun a 13-hole, ~2,600m reconnaissance drill at Etango North-East, following encouraging high-grade rock-chip results. After this phase, drilling will continue with a 23-hole, ~450m campaign at Swakopmund, targeting potential paleochannels identified by geophysical surveys. All necessary permits are in place. This exploration milestone comes shortly after the company's ASX relisting and signals a strategic push into uranium exploration within one of the world’s most prolific regions. In addition to its Namibian assets, Connected Minerals holds three exploration licences in Western Australia, with multi-commodity potential. CEO Warrick Clent expressed confidence in the campaign’s potential to uncover significant uranium resources and drive shareholder value through exploration success.
