Commencement of multi-target RC drill program at Eagles Nest and Hilditch Gold Deposits

Maximus Resources Limited (ASX: MXR) has initiated a multi-target Reverse Circulation (RC) drill program, totalling approximately 2,000 meters, at its Eagles Nest and Hilditch gold deposits, located 25km from Kambalda, Western Australia. The program includes 14 holes (~1,100m) at Eagles Nest to assess shallow gold mineralization within an optimized pit shell, essential for enhancing resource confidence classification.

The Eagles Nest deposit contains an estimated 42,550 oz at 2.0g/t Au, known historically for yielding Western Australia’s largest gold nugget. Additionally, the program involves six holes (~800m) at Hilditch, focusing on areas of high-grade mineralization. Completion is anticipated within two weeks, with assay results expected in 3 to 5 weeks, leading to an updated Mineral Resource Estimate and subsequent mining approvals.
