Charger Metals NL (ASX: CHR) provided an update on the Bynoe Lithium Project, located near Core Lithium Ltd.’s Finniss Lithium Mine in the Northern Territory, with assay results from 3 diamond drill holes and 60 reverse circulation (RC) drill holes across seven target areas. The outcomes confirm the presence of lithium and tantalum mineralization at three prospects: Enterprise, Utopia, and 7Up. However, the lithium-caesium-tantalum (LCT) pegmatite composition is uneven, with some pegmatite intersections displaying inconsistent and low-grade spodumene content.
Apart from drilling, Charger Metals has conducted ambient noise tomography (ANT) and ground gravity surveys across an extensive northeastern region within the Bynoe Project. Data from these geophysical surveys are being processed to identify concealed or "blind" pegmatite systems not visible on the surface. They've also completed surface geochemical sampling and mapping in the northeast.
