Centaurus Metals announced strong results from jaguar pilot plant test work

Centaurus Metals Limited (ASX: CTM) announced that it had received highly encouraging preliminary results from the pilot plant test work program currently underway at ALS Metallurgy in Perth, reinforcing the Jaguar Project's quality and supporting its potential to achieve excellent nickel recoveries and eventually delivering a battery-grade nickel sulphate product for the rapidly growing Electric Vehicle (EV) market.

Even with these great findings, the pilot test work program will be extended until the end of April due to the delayed start, causing a delay in the key process flow sheet design for the refinery circuit. As a result, the completion date for the Definitive Feasibility Study (DFS) has been pushed back to late 4QFY23, with a Final Investment Decision (FID) set for 3QFY24.
