Carbonxt Secures AU$4.3 million Forward Sales Contract with Wisconsin Public Service

Carbonxt Group Ltd (ASX: CG1) has received a binding AU$4.3 million purchase order from Wisconsin Public Service (WPS) for a six-month supply of Activated Carbon (AC) products. The forward purchase contract will result in an upfront payment, boosting Carbonxt's net cash for the June quarter. This agreement supports the company's upcoming Activated Carbon production facility launch in Kentucky, planned for Q3 2024.

The strong US market for pelletized and granular AC products is evident, with ongoing discussions for additional sales. The AC Pellets supplied will be used in WPS's ReACT emissions control systems, removing pollutants from coal-fired plants. This deal solidifies Carbonxt’s position as a key supplier for WPS, which recently extended the operation of its Weston Power Plant until at least 2032, ensuring a long-term partnership and financial uplift for Carbonxt.
