Carbine to acquire the Down South Silica Sands Project

Carbine Resources Limited (ASX: CRB) announced that it has signed a binding term sheet to acquire 100% of the Silica Sands Project from Down South Silica Pty Ltd. The 5,800Ha Silica Sands Project is owned entirely by DSS and consists of three authorized exploration licenses. While the company continues to pursue its attractive Muchea Project, the Silica Sands Project presents Carbine with an excellent chance for a short-term development project with tremendous expansion potential.

Several businesses have found three silica sand deposits and more possible development regions via historical exploration. The acquisition's primary motivators are the potential to significantly improve data on the Bassendean Sand Formation at this location, where only 10% of the landholding has previously been studied, access to critical infrastructure, including a port, and position on freehold land.
