Burley Minerals Limited (ASX:BUR) announced that it has reported high-grade lithium results from the first three diamond core holes drilled at the Chubb Lithium Project in Québec, Canada. The intersections returned high-grade spodumene mineralisation, with Li2O grades greater than 1.2%.
The intersections are consistent with drilling results from the 2021-2022 programs and support expectations of extensions to the Main Dyke, which is a continuous spodumene pegmatite with a strike length of at least 560m, extending from surface to below 200m. Diamond drilling is expected to resume later this month to further test the Main Dyke both along strike and at depth. The Chubb Lithium Project is strategically located in the world-class lithium province of Québec, Canada, and is only 10 km from Canada’s only operating spodumene mine. Burley Minerals is well-funded to continue exploration after recently raising AU$4.5 million.
