Blackmores Limited announced its half-yearly results

Blackmores Limited (ASX: BKL) announced its financial results for the half year ended 31 December 2022 (1HFY23).

• It has reported its first half revenue of AU$338.0 million, a 1.6% decrease from the previous corresponding period, with sales increases in both the Australia/New Zealand and China sectors offsetting revenue declines in the international segment.
• The company has declared a robust interim dividend of 87.0 cents per share fully franked, a 38% increase, with an expanded dividend pay-out range.
• Underlying Group EBIT fell 5.5%, indicating a drop in International sales due to the strong pcp comparison, offset partly by higher profitability in Australia/New Zealand and China.
• Underlying Net Profit After Tax rose 17.3% to AU$24.4 million, while underlying earnings per share rose 17.0% to 125.4 cents per share.
• The company's net profit after tax was AU$24.3 million, up 19.6% from the previous year.
