Beacon Minerals Limited (ASX: BCN) announced its acquisition of the Mt Dimer tenements from Aurumin Limited (ASX: AUN) and its subsidiary, Aurumin Mt Dimer Pty Ltd. This acquisition is a strategic move in line with Beacon's objective to increase the mine life at Jaurdi by expanding its resource base. This acquisition complements recent purchases of Geko tenements and the MacPhersons Reward Project, strengthening the company's mineral portfolio.
The terms of the agreement include a AU$3,000,000 cash payment at the time of completion, as well as a 2.0% net smelter royalty on gold and other minerals extracted from the Tenements. The completion of this acquisition is subject to various conditions, including due diligence, formal agreements, regulatory approvals, and more, with an anticipated completion date of December 15, 2023. Beacon Minerals Limited remains committed to its strategy of acquiring projects that enhance mine reserves and support its existing operations, reinforcing its position in the mining industry.
