Beacon Minerals Limited (ASX: BCN) has successfully executed a tenement sale agreement with Aurumin Limited (ASX: AUN) and its subsidiary, Aurumin Dimer Pty Ltd, to acquire the Mt Dimer Project. Located 113 kilometers northwest of Beacon’s Jaurdi processing plant, Mt Dimer is an advanced exploration project with multiple deposits and promising exploration targets. Notable features include the Lightning Deposit (unmined) and Golden Slipper Deposit (partially mined), which require limited drilling to establish a resource.
The acquisition aims to tap into the exploration potential of LO1, LO2, and LO3 lodes. Beacon intends to drill the Lightning Deposit to prepare a resource. The completion of the acquisition is anticipated by 15 December 2023, subject to fulfilling outstanding conditions. The Mt Dimer Project adds to Beacon's strategic acquisitions, complementing the Geko and MacPhersons Reward projects funded from existing cash reserves.
