Australian Rare Earths Unveils Promising Uranium Potential at Overland Project.

Jan 21, 2025

Australian Rare Earths Limited (ASX: AR3) has advanced its Overland Uranium Project, now spanning ~4,000km. The 2024 drilling campaign, totalling 3,271 meters, successfully identified a north/south trending palaeovalley with features ideal for sedimentary-hosted uranium deposits, including permeable sediments, uranium-rich source rocks, and effective reductants.

Drilling highlighted high-priority targets along the western margin of the palaeovalley, with abundant lignite horizons and anomalous gamma readings. Supported by CSIRO research, the next phase begins this month, focusing on mapping the palaeovalley further south and testing priority targets.
