Australia United Mining Limited (ASX: AYM) holds projects in New South Wales and Queensland with significant historical gold production. In New South Wales, AYM is developing the Sofala Project (EL7423) in partnership with MinRex Resources. This area, located near Bathurst, features numerous vein-style gold occurrences and historic alluvial gold sites around Sofala and Wattle Flat. In Queensland, AYM, through a joint venture with Forsayth Resources Pty Ltd, focused on the Ropewalk goldmine and nearby prospects. Approximately 450 tonnes of ore were processed, yielding AU$92,202.36 worth of gold and silver, with AYM's share being AU$13,138 after royalties. Trenching at Lady Franklin and All Nations identified gold resources, with assays ranging up to 9.09 g/t gold. Mining paused during the monsoonal wet season, with AU$145,000 spent on exploration activities funded by Forsayth Resources.
