Aurum Resources to Begin Diamond Drilling at Boundiali South Following Full Acquisition.

Aurum Resources (ASX: AUE) has finalized the 100% acquisition of the Boundiali South Tenement (BST) from Turaco Gold after securing a protocol agreement for operations within a classified forest area in Côte d’Ivoire. The A$1.2 million deal was completed through the issuance of 3,492,535 Aurum shares based on a 20-day VWAP. Following the approval from Côte d’Ivoire’s ministries, Aurum has submitted a mining exploitation licence application and is preparing to begin diamond drilling this month using two in-house rigs. 

BST is part of the larger 1.59Moz Boundiali Gold Project and holds a JORC resource of 360,000oz gold. Previous drilling at BST has delivered strong gold intercepts, including 20m @ 10.45g/t and 30m @ 8.30g/t. The new drilling campaign targets resource expansion, particularly at the Nyangboue deposit’s northern extension, forming part of Aurum’s 100,000m 2025 exploration program.
