Aurum Resources Delivers1.6Moz Maiden JORC Resource at Boundiali Gold Project

Aurum Resources Limited (ASX: AUE) has announced a maiden JORC Mineral Resource Estimate (MRE) of 1.59Moz of gold at its Boundiali Gold Project in Cote d'Ivoire. The estimate covers five deposits: BST, BDT1, BDT2, BMT1, and BMT3, with ongoing exploration identifying further prospects. A 100,000m drilling campaign is planned for 2025, aiming to expand the resource base. The project spans 1,037km² and benefits from strong infrastructure, including power lines and accessible roads.

Preliminary metallurgical testing shows gold recovery rates exceeding 95% using conventional processing methods. Aurum holds AU$23 million in cash, supporting aggressive exploration efforts and a pre-feasibility study by year-end 2025. Situated near established mining operations in Cote d'Ivoire’s greenstone belt, Boundiali has the potential to develop into a central hub-and-spoke mining operation. Artisanal mining and high-grade near-surface mineralization indicate further untapped potential within the region.
