Aurora Energy Metals Advances US Uranium Deal and WA Exploration in March Quarter

Aurora Energy Metals (ASX: 1AE) reported key progress in the March 2025 quarter, with a major focus on advancing the Eagle Energy Metals option agreement for its Aurora Uranium Project (AUP) in the US. Following shareholder approval in January, Aurora received an initial USD 300,000 payment and continues to support Eagle’s US stock exchange listing, which, if successful, could deliver up to USD 26 million in shares and a 1% NSR for Aurora. Metallurgical test work also advanced, with final optimisation set for the June quarter. In parallel, Aurora continued technical evaluations of its WA uranium tenements under the Metalbelt agreement, identifying high-priority zones for upcoming fieldwork. The company also restructured its board to align with strategic goals and ended the quarter with AU$1.05 million in cash and no debt, positioning itself for further development and exploration in the June quarter.
