AuKing achieves 100% Koongie Park ownership, Astral switches to 1% royalty

AuKing Mining Limited (ASX: AKN) has announced that as of 30 June 2023, it has achieved a 100% participating interest in the Koongie Park copper/zinc project, except for a 1% net smelter return (NSR) royalty owed to joint venture partner Astral Resources NL (AAR). Mr. Paul Williams, CEO of AuKing, emphasized that this acquisition milestone, attained within two years of the joint venture's initiation, is a significant advancement as the company aims to develop Koongie Park assets in the coming years.

 By completing over 10,000m of additional drilling, expanding the existing JORC resources at Sandiego and Onedin, reporting a maiden resource for Emull, and recently presenting the findings of a Scoping Study, it believe that Koongie Park has established itself on a development trajectory, poised to meet the anticipated robust demand for copper and zinc in the future.
