Arizona Lithium advances Prairie Project with drilling of Well #3

Arizona Lithium (ASX: AZL) has commenced drilling Well #3 at Pad #1 of its Prairie Lithium Project in Saskatchewan, Canada. This marks a significant step towards establishing Canada’s first commercial lithium production plant. Well, #2 has already been successfully drilled into the Dawson Bay Formation and converted into a disposal well, with results pending analysis.

With Well #3 being drilled as an exploration well, the company will soon have a complete infrastructure setup at Pad #1, including a production well, a disposal well, and a brackish water source well. This infrastructure is crucial for the company’s Direct Lithium Extraction operations, aiming for commercial production by 2025. The Prairie Lithium Project is expected to play a vital role in meeting the growing demand for lithium in the battery market.
