Argonaut Resources Nl: Board Transition & Name Change to Orpheus Uranium

Argonaut Resources N.L. (ASX: ARE) announced the appointment of Mr. Simon Mitchell and Mr. Richard Willson as non-executive directors, effective October 25, 2023. Their appointments come as Mr. Patrick Elliott retires as the non-executive Chair, and Mr. Andrew Bursill steps down as a non-executive director, with both changes also effective on October 25, 2023. Furthermore, Mick Billing will take on the role of Executive Chairman following Mr. Elliott's retirement.

The company also intends to request shareholder consent for a name change to "Orpheus Uranium Limited" and a shift from being a public no liability company to a public company limited by shares. These initiatives are in harmony with the company's strategic emphasis on its uranium assets. Shareholders will be asked to provide the necessary approvals at the 2023 Annual General Meeting scheduled for November 28, 2023.
