Australian Rare Earths Limited (ASX: AR3) shared the encouraging findings from recent drilling activities, pointing towards an increased resource potential at the Koppamurra rare earths project in South Australia. The assay results reveal the extension of mineralization both north and south of the existing resource, which will be incorporated into the upcoming resource update expected in the next quarter.
Extensive drilling conducted since February comprises 698 drill holes spanning 7,363m with an average depth of 10.5m, which has generated approximately 5,000 additional assays. The latest drilling has successfully identified shallow clays over limestone, exhibiting characteristics consistent with the Koppamurra-style mineralization host material. Although these recent findings will not be included in the forthcoming resource update, assays will be available for a subsequent update scheduled for the December Quarter.
