Antipa Minerals Ltd (ASX: AZY) has secured binding commitments for a AU$5 million placement, involving about 385 million fully paid ordinary shares at AU$0.013 per share. The company plans to offer a separate capital raising opportunity to current shareholders. For every two new shares subscribed to in the placement, one free-attaching unlisted option will be granted, exercisable at AU$0.02 within two years.
The funds will extend exploration and appraisal activities at the Minyari Dome Gold-Copper Project, including aggressive growth drilling and scout-drilling of Tetris and Pacman targets. The placement attracted significant interest from international and domestic institutions, as well as sophisticated investors. Antipa's Minyari Dome Project is a promising gold and copper exploration opportunity strategically located near Newcrest's Telfer processing facility. The company aims to further explore its extensive tenure, covering almost 900km², with the raised funds.
