AMP Limited: Sustained Momentum Across Core Business Segments

AMP Limited delivered a strong performance in Q1 2025, marked by a 268% year-on-year surge in platform net cashflows to AU$740 million. Although Assets Under Management (AUM) slightly declined to AU$78.8 billion due to market volatility, client engagement remained robust, especially with the growing popularity of the MyNorth Lifetime product. Superannuation & Investments continued to show improvement, with net outflows narrowing significantly to AU$108 million from AU$371 million a year ago. In New Zealand, wealth management net cashflows more than doubled to AU$57 million, while AUM reached AU$11.6 billion. AMP Bank maintained a stable loan book at AU$23.3 billion, and deposits edged up to AU$20.7 billion. The newly launched digital bank, featuring Australia’s first numberless debit card and enhanced security, received positive feedback.
