Amcors Shares Dip 4.2% Despite Steady FY25 Outlook and Dividend Boost

Nov 01, 2024

Amcor PLC (ASX: AMC) saw its shares fall by 4.2% despite reaffirming its fiscal 2025 outlook and announcing a modestly increased quarterly dividend compared to the previous year. The global packaging leader noted that while market conditions remain challenging, its full-year projections are on track. The company’s latest dividend adjustment reflects its commitment to shareholder returns even amid market pressures. However, this news wasn’t enough to alleviate investor concerns, as Amcor's shares continued to decline, closing at a 5% drop on the trading day.
