Altech to Acquire Additional Stakes in CERENERGY and Silumina AnodesTM Projects.

Altech Batteries Limited (ASX: ATC) has agreed to acquire an additional 18.75% stake in the CERENERGY Project and an additional 25% stake in the Silumina AnodesTM Project from Altech Advanced Materials AG (AAM). Following this acquisition, Altech will hold 75% of CERENERGY and full ownership of Silumina AnodesTM, with Fraunhofer remaining a 25% joint venture partner in CERENERGY. The transaction, valued at approximately AU$23.3 million, will be settled through the issuance of 532 million fully paid ordinary shares to AAM, subject to shareholder approval. 

This acquisition simplifies Altech’s corporate structure, optimizes financing opportunities, and enhances strategic flexibility. By consolidating ownership, Altech aims to accelerate the commercial development of its battery technology projects. The transaction also addresses AAM’s recent funding challenges, positioning Altech favorably for future partnerships and financing. AAM will retain a 21% stake in Altech, ensuring long-term investment benefits while shifting its focus as an investment entity.
