African Gold Ltd (ASX: A1G) has launched its largest-ever diamond drilling program at the Didievi Gold Project, focusing on the high-grade zone at Blaffo Guetto, which previously delivered an impressive intercept of 65m at 5.6g/t gold. The 10,000-meter program will also explore underexplored regional prospects with notable historical results, including 12m at 5.6g/t gold and 4m at 13.3g/t gold.
Strategically located near established infrastructure, the Didievi Project hosts an inferred resource of 452,000 ounces of gold at 2.9g/t (1.0 g/t cutoff). CEO Adam Oehlman highlighted the program's potential to extend known resources and unlock value from untested targets, supported by strong community and team engagement on-site. This extensive campaign underscores African Gold's commitment to advancing exploration and resource expansion at Didievi, with the results expected to strengthen its growth trajectory in the gold sector.
