Aerometrex Secures AU$0.875 Million LiDAR Contract with Queensland Government.

Aerometrex Limited (ASX: AMX) has been awarded a significant LiDAR contract worth approximately AU$0.875 million (excluding GST) by the Queensland Government’s Department of Natural Resources and Mines, Manufacturing and Regional and Rural Development. The contract involves the acquisition and delivery of high-precision Airborne LiDAR data, concurrent aerial imagery, and elevation datasets covering the south-west region of Queensland. The project is scheduled for completion within the 2025 calendar year and aligns with Aerometrex’s standard LiDAR business practices.

The initiative is jointly funded by the Australian and Queensland governments under the Disaster Recovery Funding Arrangements. Rob Veitch, Acting CEO of Aerometrex, expressed satisfaction with the contract award, highlighting it as a testament to the long-standing relationship the company has developed with the Queensland Government. This project strengthens Aerometrex’s position in geospatial data services and supports disaster preparedness and recovery efforts across the region.
