Respiratory imaging technology company 4DMedical Limited (ASX: 4DX) has formalized a Teaming Agreement with Koninklijke Philips N.V. (NYSE: PHG) to expand the commercialization of XV Technology® within the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs (VA). Philips, a global healthcare leader, and 4DMedical aim to secure contracts from the VA to offer 4D lung imaging, addressing respiratory diseases linked to deployment-related exposures.
The collaboration supports the massive need for non-invasive lung screening under the PACT Act, extending benefits eligibility to an additional 4.5 million Veterans. Philips' strategic cooperation focuses on scaling Veteran access to XV Technology®, aiming to grow market share and better serve the Veteran community. The parties plan to develop toxic exposure and lung screening solutions, potentially expanding to other markets. The Teaming Agreement accelerates 4DMedical's mission and impact on millions of Veterans and caregivers.
