Cronos Australia changes name to Vitura Health Limited

On 06 February 2023, Vitura Health Limited announced that Cronos Australia Limited (ASX: CAU) has changed its name to Vitura Health Limited. The company's new name reflects the integration of its business with CDA Health Pty Ltd. Vitura Health Limited expects that its ASX code will be updated to VIT on 8 February 2023, the opening day of trade. The decision to change the company's name was made at the Annual General Meeting held on 29 November 2022. The shareholders overwhelmingly supported the change, with more than 99.7% of all votes cast in favor of it.

According to the Board, the name change will help to deepen the integration of the two companies into a cohesive, high-performing entity. The new name aligns with the merged company's vision, values, and aspirations, rather than being tied to the pre-merger business. The company has indicated that there will be no changes to the brands in its portfolio, which include CanView, Burleigh Heads Cannabis, CDA Clinics, Cannadoc, and Adaya.

The Australian Securities and Investments Commission has updated the company's registration details to reflect the change of name. Effective immediately, the company's name has been changed to Vitura Health Limited. The company anticipates that it will commence trading on the ASX under the new name and ASX code on 8 February 2023.
