Basin Energy Limited (ASX: BSN) has completed the sale of its Marshall Uranium Project in Canada’s Athabasca Basin to Green Canada Corporation (GCC). The transaction removes Basin’s future funding commitments while preserving exposure to the project’s exploration potential. GCC is required to invest a minimum of C$1.50 million in exploration activities over the next two years. Basin maintains the ability to reacquire a 25% project interest and holds a three-year first right to consider any proposed future sale.As consideration, Basin receives an initial interest in GCC, upfront cash and potential additional payments over subsequent periods. The company also received 400,000 GCC shares for granting nine-month exclusivity over the North Millennium joint venture.The transaction enables Basin to redirect capital and technical resources toward its recent Sybella-Barkly discovery in northwest Queensland, strengthening its focus on rare earth and uranium exploration while retaining indirect exposure to Canadian uranium opportunities.
