Alliance Aviation Services Limited (ASX: AQZ) has requested the recommencement of trading in its ordinary shares following the successful completion of the institutional component of its equity raising. The request follows a trading halt initiated on 25 August 2026, with the capital-raising process progressing according to the timetable released a day later.With the institutional component now completed, Alliance has asked for its shares to resume trading from the opening of the market on 28 August 2026. The development marks an important step in the company’s equity-raising process and restores normal market trading following the temporary suspension.Alliance remains a major Australasian provider of ACMI, contract and charter aviation services, employing more than 1,400 people. Its operations support mining, energy and government customers, while the company also provides wet-lease services to other airlines. Alliance additionally maintains recognised aviation safety certifications, including IATA IOSA and BARS Gold status.
