By the end of the trading session on 19 March 2025, the benchmark index S&P/ASX 200 closed lower by 0.41% and settled at 7,828.30. Out of 11 sectors, 08 sectors ended higher along with the S&P/ASX 200.

Healthcare and Telecommunication Services is the top-gaining sector gaining 0.54% and 0.19% in their index value. On the other hand, Utilities and A-REIT are the top-losing sectors losing 1.58% and 1.30% in their index value.

Codan Limited (ASX: CDA) and Deep Yelllow Limited (ASX: DYL) are the top-gaining stocks, gaining 6.629% and 4.477% in their stock prices. On the other hand, Helia Group Limited (ASX: HLI) and Coronado Global Resources Inc. (ASX: CRN) went down by 15.930% and 6.061% respectively are the top-losing stocks.
