By the end of the trading session on 10 February 2025, the benchmark index S&P/ASX 200 closed lower by 0.34% and settled at 8,482.80. Out of 11 sectors, 08 ended lower along with the S&P/ASX 200.

Utilities and Consumer Staples are the top-gaining sectors, gaining 0.74% and 0.53% % in their index value. On the other hand, Information Technology and Telecommunications Services is the top-losing sector, losing 1.45% and 1.19% in their index value.

The Star Entertainment Limited (ASX: SGR) and Ansell Limited (ASX: ANN) are the top-gaining stocks, gaining 13.636% and 8.130% in their stock prices. On the other hand, Car Group Limited (ASX: CAR) and JB HI-FI Limited (ASX: JBH) went down by 6.508% and 4.559% respectively are the top-losing stocks.
