The round was led by prominent Web3 institutional investors, including Animoca Ventures, Spartan Group, and Wemix Pte. Ltd., alongside angel investors and Web3 contributors. This funding follows ZKCandy's open-testnet phase, which saw over 2.4 million wallets created within two weeks, demonstrating strong user interest. The funds will support technological advancements, feature development, and preparations for the mainnet launch in the first half of 2025, while also expanding partnerships and enhancing the user experience.
ZKCandy integrates zkSync-powered gaming and AI-specific tools into its Layer 2 elastic chain, offering EVM-compatible games on Telegram. With a pipeline of over 25 game titles, ZKCandy aims to foster a robust ecosystem for developers and players. ICandy anticipates potential financial benefits from this venture but cannot yet quantify its impact.
