Authentication and consumer engagement solutions provider YPB Group Limited (ASX: YPB) has entered into a 3-year agreement with Rim-Lock Innovations Pty Ltd to protect and support an invention for the global mining and wheeled heavy machinery sector. Rim-Lock's invention, Rim-Lock, aims to enhance safety in the wheel and tire change process for heavy machinery weighing over four tonnes. YPB's solutions will be integrated with Rim-Lock to ensure supply chain integrity, authenticate parts, and enable automated maintenance logging.
The contract showcases YPB's ability to monetize its intellectual property portfolio by quickly entering large markets with innovative solutions. The company's solutions, including ProtectCode, YPB Tracer, BrandReporter, UnifAI, and YPB Connect, will be utilized to provide digital information, physical authentication, supply chain management, inventory and maintenance logging, and maintenance database management for Rim-Lock.
