XPON Sells Datisan Business to Strengthen AI-Focused Growth
XPON Technologies Group Limited (ASX: XPN) has agreed to sell its Datisan business, which provides Google Marketing Platform and Google Cloud Platform services, to global marketing and AI solutions company Incubeta. The deal includes an upfront cash payment of AU$5.5 million and a potential performance-based earn-out of up to AU$2.0 million, bringing the total transaction value to as much as AU$7.5 million.
The company stated that the sale aligns with its long-term strategy of focusing on artificial intelligence and marketing technology solutions. Funds generated from the transaction are expected to improve XPON’s financial position, support the ongoing development of its Wondaris AI Marketing Platform, and provide flexibility to pursue future acquisitions in the AI sector.
Incubeta was selected as the preferred buyer due to its extensive experience as a certified Google partner and its strong global presence. The transaction remains subject to shareholder approval, regulatory clearance, and other customary conditions before completion.
