Western Gold Resources has completed a successful Aboriginal heritage survey

Western Gold Resources (ASX: WGR) announces the successful completion of a comprehensive Aboriginal heritage survey at its 100% owned Gold Duke Project in the northeastern goldfields of Western Australia. This survey, conducted at a mining level, has secured heritage clearance for mining operations over the planned areas at the Eagle, Emu, Gold King, and Golden Monarch deposits. In the upcoming third quarter, It will perform additional Aboriginal Heritage Surveys at the Brilliant and Bottom Camp prospects to expand its gold production for Stage 2.

WGR is on track to finalize its production Scoping Study, which will be based on the current Mineral Resource Estimate of 4.57Mt and 2.00g/t gold. The study will assess the optimal strategy for processing the ore, considering a mill, CIL, and Heap Leach methods, or a combination of these approaches, to maximize financial returns. These deposits encompass 178,000 oz of gold, representing 61% of the Gold Duke project's total resource.
