According to the data released by the Australian Bureau of Statistics, Australia’s payroll jobs increased by 0.5% and total wages up by 0.3% between the weeks ending 29 October 2022 and 12 November 2022.
Payroll jobs increased by 0.5%, compared to an increase of 0.2% in the previous fortnight and total wages paid increased by 0.3%, compared to a decrease of 0.6% in the previous fortnight.

In the fortnight to 12 November 2022, the largest changes in payroll jobs were in South Australia, up 0.9% and in Victoria, increased by 0.8%.
