VUL Partners with Stellantis for Phased Renewable Energy Project

Vulcan Energy Resources (ASX: VUL) announces a significant milestone with Vulcan and Stellantis joining forces for a geothermal renewable energy project in France, marking their fourth agreement after prior collaborations in lithium hydroxide supply and equity investment. This latest agreement aims to harness the potential of geothermal renewable energy to decarbonize and localize Stellantis' energy supply across its European operations.

As part of its decarbonization strategy, Stellantis aims to achieve carbon neutrality by FY 2038, with a 50% reduction by the end of the decade. The Zero Carbon Lithium project by Vulcan in the Upper Rhine Valley takes on a crucial role in delivering an integrated source of lithium chemicals and geothermal renewable energy. The partnership will bolster Vulcan's efforts to decarbonize the European electric vehicle industry alongside its Zero Carbon Lithium Project.
