VPR provides an operational activity update for Q2 FY23

Jul 28, 2023

Volt Power Group Limited (ASX: VPR) reported Q2 revenues of AU$0.80 million, with year-to-date revenues reaching AU$1.72 million (compared to AU$1.98 million in Q2 FY22), representing a 13% decline. However, Volt Group's Ordinary Revenue and EBITDA align with the FY23 Board-approved budget, and the company is on track to achieve record FY23 Ordinary Revenue and EBITDA.

Noteworthy developments include significant investments in IP and R&D by the Wescone & EcoQuip businesses to enhance their product competitive advantage. EcoQuip has made strides in developing its Mobile Solar Light Tower (MSLT) technology platform, enhancing the customer portal interface, automated data analytics, and pre-emptive notification capabilities during Q2. EcoQuip also completed two tender responses for Tier 1 resource sector businesses, aiming to supply new MSLT fleets to replace existing diesel-fuelled light towers.
