True North Copper Limited (ASX: TNC) announced the successful advancement of mining activities at the Wallace North deposit, an integral part of Queensland's Cloncurry Copper Project. The company extracted the first ore block from the 180 bench yesterday. Last month, TNC initiated mining operations at Wallace North, one of the four open-pit deposits comprising CCP. Through the revitalization of CCP, TNC is making impressive strides toward establishing itself as Australia's next copper producer and essential metals supplier. The exposure of oxide ore in the open pit and the recent commencement of ore extraction, as documented in supporting photographs, mark significant milestones.
Furthermore, the oxide ore from Wallace North will be transported to TNC's Cloncurry Operations Hub for crushing and placement onto the heap leach pads. CCP is forecasted to yield a substantial free cash flow of approximately AU$200 million at current copper spot prices over its initial 4.6-year mine life.
